Situated in the Ongava Game Reserve, bordering the Etosha National Park, Anderssons At Ongava is the ideal safari experience for the discerning traveler wishing to camp in style. Besides being part of exciting, cutting-edge conservation science, guests can enjoy a wide array of activities at Anderssons. Game drives and guided walks offer the opportunity to view the reserve’s famed lion and rhino population, while the camp’s hide allows for unobtrusive game viewing from the camp’s waterhole that is often frequented by plains game including zebra, giraffe and a variety of antelope. Full or half day excursions into Etosha National Park can also be arranged where gazing upon the massive salt-pan is a definite highlight.

The link to nature is at the heart of Anderssons At Ongava’s design, and is most strongly felt at the waterhole and close-by subterranean hide. The centrally located infinity-edge swimming pool and surrounding lounge area enable guests to unwind in private spaces with spectacular vistas. All natural materials used at Anderssons aim to reflect and capture the drama of Etosha. 20 chalets, created as a natural extension of the landscape, stretch out into Mopane woodland and blend seamlessly into the surroundings while a family unit consisting of two chalets is connected by a short interleading walkway.
