Born and Bred

Joshua was born in Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal and lived most of his life in Centurion, Pretoria. He moved to Cape Town in October 2020.

Highlight of his time in the industry

Though new to the travel industry, Joshua has been working in marketing and digital design for over a decade and has worked with a number of upcoming brands. He is a confident designer with a sharp eye for detail. He looks forward to working with the Ker & Downey® Africa team and assisting in making more people’s dream adventures come true.

Travel Expertise

Apart from exploring various destinations in his home country of South Africa, Joshua has traveled to the United States, Thailand and China where he lived in Chengdu for 15 months. He particularly loved Thailand for its people, culture, remote beaches and pristine water for snorkeling.

Joshua’s favorite destination in Africa

Joshua would love to explore more of South Africa, particularly the West Coast, and would also love to experience the white sand beaches of Mozambique.
