Situated 1,731 miles off the coast of East Africa, you will find the island nation of Mauritius, part of the Mascarene Islands in the Indian Ocean. February to April and October to November are the low season in Mauritius. This is a time when great experiences can be achieved at a lower cost. The months of January and February often boast prolonged periods of rain when cyclones roll in from the Indian Ocean.
The shoulder season, from March to April and October to November, sees fewer visitors to the island.
