About this trip

Our epic new South Africa to Antarctica Expedition transports you from the tip of Africa to the snowy wonderland of Antarctica – an experience which has lured travelers such as astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Bear Grylls and Prince Harry. Following four days in the city of Cape Town we will transfer you 2,400 miles across the Southern Ocean by private jet. Landing on a blue-ice runway you will be welcomed by the white deserts of Antarctica and hosted in luxury igloo pods. Your days are spent exploring ice caves, crossing frozen lakes, summiting mountains, rock climbing and encountering a 6000 strong Emperor Penguin colony. This is an expedition for the daring, the thrill-seeker and avid explorer. Bid goodbye the snowy wonderland as you return to Cape Town for the second leg of your LuxVenture® Expedition – a visit to South Africa’s most sought after safari destination, the Kruger National Park. Retreat to the African bush for 4 days at one of the park’s most prestigious private lodges, Singita Lebombo, and witness the big five on game drives and walking safari expeditions.
