Situated along the banks of the famous Zambezi River, Nyamatusi Camp is African Bush Camps’ third property in the pristine Mana Pools National Park. Radiating a sense of wild serenity, the park is home to a range of animal and bird species including the critically endangered wild dog. Large pods of hippos and crocodiles are also commonplace, and known to congregate in enormous numbers in the Zambezi River. Your safari at Nyamatusi Camp takes place on the banks of this expansive riverine terrain where you can expect many memorable encounters with these iconic African species.
Observe the drama of nature unfold before your eyes on captivating canoe safaris or thrilling game drives. Other highlights include birding expeditions and catch-and-release fishing along the river. All of these activities are led by knowledgeable guides eager to impart their love of the bush on you.
Embracing sustainable design and a leader in eco-conscious style, Nyamatusi Camp comprises six luxury tented suites. All boast unobstructed views of the surrounding river and escarpment. 100% solar-powered and constructed with all-natural materials, each opulent guest tent features a private viewing balcony, plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers, soft decorations and air conditioning. Nyamatusi Camp provides the ideal base from which to take in the amazing sights and sounds of one of Africa’s last remaining wilderness havens.
