At Chem Chem Lodge, we can arrange for a traditional Maasai ceremony complete with a Maasai choir to celebrate your special bond. This will make an extra special moment in time even more beautiful. On day 4, you will travel to the andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, located right on the rim of the Crater with the most breathtaking views. Last but not least, we’ll escort you to the ultra-luxurious One Nature Nyaruswiga Serengeti, located in the heart of the central Serengeti. The Serengeti is often referred to as the ‘Big Cat Capital’ and is home to over 3,000 lions.

Arusha Coffee Lodge
Upon arrival in Arusha at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a friendly representative of Ker & Downey® Africa who will provide a VIP ‘Meet and Greet’ service before escorting you 1.5 hours to the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Here, you can spend the afternoon walking through the sprawling grounds of the estate and stop by ‘Traders Walk’ – a row of quaint shops that specialize in African crafts, carvings, Tanzanite gemstones, clothes, and more. In the evening, we recommend enjoying a fabulous meal in the gourmet restaurant overlooking the sparkling pool and water features. On day 2, enjoy a 2-hour coffee tour to see how coffee is grown, harvested, dried, and produced. This is also an opportunity to purchase some aromatic, freshly ground coffee to take home. Relax over lunch in the main restaurant, Bacchus, or the vibey cafe bistro. In the late afternoon, we have included a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list experience for you and your loved one. You will embark on a thrilling 1-hour light aircraft flight over Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa! This adventure has an audio guide that caters to most languages.

After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport, where you will board a light aircraft for a short scenic flight to a local airstrip near Tarangire National Park. Here, you will be met by one of the lodge representatives from Chem Chem who will escort you on an easy 45-minute drive to Chem Chem Lodge, located on a 20,000-hectare private concession. After check-in, you will have time to enjoy the perfect balance of wide-open spaces and untamed African bush and the vintage charm of the lodge itself.

From here, a representative from andBeyond will collect you and transfer you to your lodge at the all-inclusive andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Spend two glorious nights enjoying this award-winning property’s facilities and activities. A special bucket list experience on offer is the crater descent, which sees you driving into the world-famous game-rich Ngorongoro Crater – one of the epic wonders of the natural world. Back at the lodge, your private butler and housekeeper will set up romantic bush dinners and intimate sundowners. The uninterrupted views are considered some of the best in Africa, and there will be nothing better than waking up in the morning, opening up your silk curtains, and gazing out the floor-to-ceiling windows in your suite. Seronera airstrip

After saying goodbye to the friendly staff at andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, a lodge representative will transfer you back to Manyara airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Seronera airstrip in the heart of the central Serengeti. After a short mini-game drive transfer to an absolutely incredible location, a traditional Maasai welcome awaits you with singing and dancing. During your stay, you can enjoy a romantic bush breakfast, and special sundowners will be set up in a stunningly scenic location with cocktails and gourmet snacks. The lodge is highly rated for its food, so there will be no normal meals here! Enjoy a romantic bubble bath set up by your private butler in the opulent copper bath tub with sweeping views of the Serengeti. On the morning of day 9, we have arranged a safari hot air balloon flight that will see you soaring over the Serengeti at sunrise, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. It is not uncommon to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants from above. You can tailor the rest of the day to your liking, either embarking on a morning and afternoon game drive or even a full day 8-hour action-packed game drive with your guide.
