South Africa is a special place. Without a doubt Cape Town, Sabi Sand & Kruger National Park are the star locations of this incredible country. Pristine beaches, buzzing city experiences, serene escapes, refined stays and memorable wildlife encounters all await between these 3 destinations on this 9 Day Luxury Safari in Kruger National Park & Cape Town LuxVenture®. Cycle through the Winelands, air transfer between camps, safari in the bush and stay in some of South Africa’s top lodges and hotels in a trip that will leave you with the satisfaction of a country well visited as well as a passion to return.
Begin your Luxury Safari in Kruger National Park & Cape Town experience in the incredible city of Cape Town. This city is South Africa’s most visited city by international visitors, and for good reason. This one location is home to one of the New 7 Wonders Of The World – Table Mountain, one of the world’s best beaches – Camps Bay, some of the world’s best wines in the Cape Winelands and one of the most vibrant city cultures in the world. Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and driven to your first hotel – Ellerman House, Bantry Bay. Perfectly located in a leafy and exclusive Cape Town suburb, with breathtaking views of the ocean, your suite here is the perfect place from which to begin your visit to the country.
Today you will embark on a full day tour into the world renowned Cape Winelands. Devon Valley near Stellenbosch provides a dense concentration of some of South Africa’s most prominent world class wines. After being driven to the valley you will embark on a unique cycle tour, stopping off at the wine farms of the area as you go for incredible wine and cuisine experiences. This tour provides ultimate flexibility and you have the freedom to explore the area at their own pace. Return to the city for the evening and allow our travel experts to recommend and pre book a dinner for you at one of Cape Town’s top restaurants.
Spend the next 2 days enjoying the city of Cape Town as you find your perfect balance between exploring the city, mountain and waters of Cape Town. Our Adventurists are available to discuss your preferences, group size and interests in order to make the best recommendations for your 2 days in Cape Town. These recommendations will allow you to experience the bucket list items in Cape Town (that are a must) such as the Table Mountain cable car and Camps Bay beach, but our local knowledge will also open up a world of ‘hidden gems’ in the city that we would love for you to experience – from restaurants, bars, old style movie theatres and the best hiking trails and hidden caves around Table Mountain, there is so much to explore during your time in Cape Town.
Enjoy your final breakfast at the special Ellerman House as you soak up the last few views of the seaboard. Once you’ve completed your breakfast you will be driven to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. Here you will board your connecting flight to Singita’s own airstrip – the most direct and convenient way to your Lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Upon arrival you will be greeted by your guide, who will drive you the short way through the Reserve from the Airstrip to your world class lodge, Singita Boulders Lodge. Situated on the banks of the Sabi River on a privately owned reserve within the Sabi Sands Reserve, this lodge has been named 9th best lodge in Africa, Middle East & The Indian Ocean by Conde Naste Traveller as well as top in the same region (and 7th in the world) by Travel & Leisure.
Spend the day at Singita Boulders Lodge and enjoy this world class Game Reserve. Professional guides and trackers provide visitors with the best possible chances of having the most incredible wildlife experiences. With a good concentration of game in the reserve, leopard, lion, rhino, buffalo, elephant, hyena, hippo, nyala, cheetah, wild dogs and reedbuck are all frequently seen with much more game on offer. While not on game drives, there are many other activities available at the Singita Boulders. These include stargazing, community visits that aid the development of the local area, an extensive wine cellar, guided walking safaris, a spa on location, archery as well as mountain biking excursions and a gym. Round off the day and your wonderful stay at Singita Boulders with drinks around the fire and a top tier dinner.
Awake for another world class breakfast at Singita Boulders Lodge before beginning your journey through to your next accommodation beyond the gates of the Kruger National Park – South Africa’s best known National Park. Your effortless transfer to Singita Lebombo will begin with a short game drive to the airstrip, where you will board a light aircraft which will fly you directly to Satara Airstrip. A Singita Lebombo representative will await your arrival at Satara and by means of a game drive you will be transferred to Singita Lebombo. With only 13 suites, this lodge is one of the most exclusive in the Kruger National Park – a definite must in high season (May – August) where the park attracts a multitude of visitors from around the globe. The suites overlook the N’Wanetsi River – an area teeming with wildlife of various species and a water source that attracts antelope and predator alike. This luxurious lodge is a refined retreat from which to enjoy one of the top National Parks in the world, with a library, wine studio, game viewing from rooftops, espresso bar, lap pool and more.
