Royal Chundu River Lodge is set on a private stretch of riverbank, while its Island Lodge counterpart is located on a private island in the center of the Zambezi River. The romantic Island Lodge is reached by taking a short pontoon trip across the river to Katombora Island. Here, guests are transported into a world of tranquility and breathtaking beauty, completely surrounded by the sights and sounds of the mighty Zambezi. A visit to Victoria Falls, game drives in the surrounding reserves, sunset safari cruises or mokoro trips to the local community are just some of the activities on offer during a stay at Royal Chundu Island Lodge.
The secluded villas blend gracefully into the natural surroundings, with stylish earthy interiors and splashes of cobalt blue. Each villa opens to a private deck overlooking the river with a refreshing infinity pool for the day and an indulgent outdoor bathtub to relax in under the stars at night.
