Since joining Ker & Downey® Africa in 2014, Silke has built up Ker & Downey® Africa Germany DMC division from the ground-up. Her three-man team specialises in 6-star luxury travel to Africa.
Born and Bred
Silke was born and bred in Germany. Before landing herself in the luxury travel industry in South Africa, Silke received her Masters of Science degree in Informatics and worked for a major advertising and events company in Stuttgart, Germany, that specialised in incentive travel around the world. Her attention to detail and insights into the needs of high networth German travelers has afforded her team with a reputation of excellence.

Travel Expertise
Silke only considers herself an expert at selling a destination once she has traveled there herself and experienced the product and services first-hand. She has traveled extensively in South Africa, Tanzania and Rwanda but has also visited Morocco, Zanzibar, Mauritius, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Uganda.
