Luana Do Coutto is the General Manager of Ker & Downey® Africa Latin America DMC. With 14 years of experience in the luxury travel industry in both Brazil and South Africa, Luana’s background has given her a unique insight into the needs of boutique tour operators and the demands of valuable clients.
Born and Bred
Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Here, Luana worked for leaders in the luxury travel industry such as Teresa Perez Tours, TTW Group, TL Portfolio, and DUCO Travel Summit. Her time there gave her a unique insight into the needs of boutique tour operators and the demands of VIP clients.

Travel Expertise
Luana’s expertise lies in selling Southern and East Africa from a B2B perspective. She has traveled extensively in South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda which gives her first-hand experience across a variety of African destinations.
Luana’s favourite destination in Africa
Luana has a love for South Africa, Tanzania, and Rwanda. It’s impossible to pick a favorite. In her opinion, it is easiest to combine a great safari experience in South Africa (Kruger or Madikwe) with the most beautiful city in the world: Cape Town. On the other hand, Tanzania has the immensity of Serengeti, with tons of animals, and the opportunity of hot air balloon safaris and Rwanda offers the amazing history of recovery after the genocide and the last living mountain gorillas in the world.
