Born and Bred

Bernadette was born in the small mining town of Phalaborwa, South Africa, bordering the Kruger National Park. “This gave me an opportunity to be close to nature from an early age which fueled my love for adventure and the outdoors. We moved to Johannesburg at the age of 6 where I completed my schooling and studies. I then moved to Cape Town and I can honestly call this home – what an extraordinary city to live in.”

Highlight of her time in the industry

Bernadette has been in the travel industry for 6 years and has loved meeting like-minded people and being part of the collective growth in tourism.

Travel Expertise

While Bernadette may not have traveled much in Africa, she has visited some breathtaking regions in her own home country. Highlights for her are experiencing the Big Five in the bush, stargazing in the Cederberg mountains, and enjoying all the adventures the Mother City has to offer.

Bernadette’s favorite destination in Africa

Bernadette loves South Africa, but has a few bucket list destinations she’d like to experience like the Okavango Delta, the Serengeti, the Masai Mara, Victoria Falls, Egypt and Namibia… just to name a few!
