This exclusive 12 Day Culinary Journey to Morocco invites food lovers to discover the flavours of this culturally rich destination. You can perfect the art of Moroccan cuisine while exploring the country’s culinary hotspots – Fes, Marrakech and Skoura. Reignite your senses on guided tours of the ancient medinas of Fes and Marrakech, learn the techniques of traditional Moroccan cooking and unwind in the wilderness of Skoura while staying in some of the most luxurious hotels in Morocco.
Your Culinary Journey to Morocco begins on arrival at Fes Saiss Airport, where you can enjoy a swift VIP Fast Track service through immigration. From here, your personal guide will be waiting to accompany you into the heart of the ancient city of Fes. Check-in to the exclusive Relais & Châteaux Riad Fes. The morning starts with a visit to a spice trader and honey souk to shop for some key Moroccan ingredients. Then in the afternoon enjoy lunch at the secret garden who specialise in a modern take on traditional street food. Late afternoon transfer back to the hotel.
Your Moroccan expert will guide you to Cinema Amal and visit the R’cif market to shop for local ingredients for today’s cooking class. At 11h30 you’ll have a cooking class to learn the secrets to the Moroccan kitchen’s diverse flavors. You will be making up to 5 Moroccan dishes from tagines to cakes with fruity olive oil. Note – r’Cif market visit dependent on regulations during time of travel. Late afternoon at 14h30 you will have a lunch paired with two boutique local wines.
On day three visit a Middle Atlas farm to attend a course on how to make bread in a traditional clay oven. Then you have the afternoon free to stroll the streets of Fes and the narrow streets of the medina.
On day four you will visit the imperial city of Meknes and visit an award-winning olive mil. Followed by a gourmet lunch among the vineyards.

Wake up and enjoy a delectable breakfast at Riad Fes before meeting your dedicated driver who will accompany you to Fes Airport. Today, you will journey to the vibrant city of Marrakech. On arrival at Marrakech airport, meet your personal driver who will transfer you to the luxurious Villa Des Orangers. Discover this culinary mecca on a guided walking tour of the Old Medina alongside an expert guide, sample local specialities from the food stalls at Djemaa El Fna Square, visit the beautiful Majorelle Garden and scour the mesmerizing souks for Moroccan trinkets. While in Marrakech, you will have the opportunity to visit Dar el Sadaka. Located in the palm groves of Marrakech, enjoy a unique dining experience surrounded by artist Jean-Francois Fourtou’s imaginative sculpture garden. On your final day in Marrakech, brush up on your Moroccan culinary skills alongside a dada (Moroccan female cook) and learn the ins and outs of preparing a tagine in a beautiful group workshop with state-of-the-art equipment.
After a flavourful breakfast at Villa Des Orangers, your driver will transfer you inland towards the Atlas Mountains. Admire the everchaning landscapes as you wind down the Tizi’n’Tchika, stopping at the renowned Ksar Ait ben Haddou before reaching your final destination, Dar Ahlam. Meals at this 19th century Kasbah are an enchanting daily surprise with tables set up in different locations in this desert oasis. The kitchen sources seasonal organic produce from their very own bountiful gardens, as well as organic ingredients from local producers and prepares traditional dishes with a modern twist. Your afternoon can be spent relaxing by the palm shaded swimming pool before a world-class dinner under the stars.
Today, you will journey into the Dades Valley – a region marked by its rugged gorges, deep canyons and wide open valleys. En route, discover traditional life of Berber villages, followed by a mouth-watering picnic overlooking magnificent landscapes before arriving at your luxury desert camp in the valley of Roses. A highlight of this unique campout experience is the sublime candlelit dinner served under a canopy of stars.
Enjoy a refreshing breakfast surrounded by nature as the first rays of morning sunlight illuminate your camp. You will have the opportunity to discover Kasbah Amridil, a historic kasbah founded in the IV century. Your dedicated driver will transfer you to Sidi Flah where you will meet a local family who will teach you the ancient practice of bread making, followed by a traditional home made lunch at their family home. Your driver will escort you back to Dar Ahlam for a lavish dinner at the hotel.
On your last full day – day eleven you have a free day to disconnect from the rest of the world and enjoy this luxurious oasis.
Day 12 marks the final day of your Culinary Journey to Morocco. After a refreshing breakfast at Dar Ahlam, your dedicated driver will transfer you to Marrakech Airport for your onward journey home. But the VIP treatment is not over as you will also have a VIP fast-track departure with our local representative.
