FAQ

Luxury Namibia Safari

Our team of seasoned specialists share everything you need to know, from essential travel tips to thoughtful insights that ensure a seamless journey from start to finish.

/01

What is a Luxury Namibia Safari?

+
A Luxury Namibia Safari is a fly-in safari experience that combines the thrill of exploring some of Africa’s most dramatic landscapes with the comfort of world-class lodges. This itinerary takes you from the iconic red dunes of Sossusvlei to the rugged beauty of Damaraland and the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha National Park, all connected by scenic light aircraft flights.
/02

What wildlife can I expect to see in Namibia?

+
Namibia’s landscapes are home to a remarkable array of wildlife, which is adapted to the harsh desert conditions. You can expect to see elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, rhinos, oryx, springbok, and over 340 species of birds. In Damaraland, you might spot desert-adapted elephants and black rhinos, while Etosha’s waterholes provide some of Africa’s most reliable game-viewing opportunities.
/03

What makes this safari unique?

+
Unlike traditional safaris confined to one region, this Luxury Namibia Safari Package allows you to experience the country’s diverse ecosystems from above and on the ground. From stargazing in a Dark Sky Reserve to tracking desert-adapted elephants in Damaraland, and witnessing rhinos at Etosha’s waterholes, this safari offers both adventure and exclusivity in equal measure.
/04

Is Namibia a suitable destination for first-time safari travellers?

+
Yes. Namibia is one of Africa’s safest, cleanest, and most visitor-friendly destinations. Its excellent infrastructure and low malaria risk make it perfect for both first-time and seasoned safari-goers seeking a blend of adventure and comfort.
/05

When is the best time to go on a Luxury Namibia Safari?

+
Namibia is a year-round destination. However, the dry season (May–October) is ideal for game viewing, with animals congregating around waterholes. The green season (November–April) offers lush scenery, dramatic skies, and excellent photography opportunities, though temperatures can be higher.
/06

What should I pack for a Luxury Namibia Safari?

+
We recommend packing lightweight, neutral-coloured clothing, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and sturdy walking shoes. Include a warm jacket for cool desert nights, a swimsuit for lodge pools, and a good camera for Namibia’s spectacular scenery.
