Upon arrival, a representative from Ker & Downey® Africa will assist you to board your light aircraft for a scenic charter flight over the Okavango Delta to the northern region of the community-run Khwai Concession. From the local airstrip it is a short game drive to the Khwai Leadwood lodge. There are a number of experiences available in this game-rich region including game drives, walking safaris and even night safaris – a thrilling experience even for the most seasoned safari veterans. At the lodge you can relax in between your safari activities at the lodge pool which provides a refreshing respite from the heat during the summer months, as well as enjoy the views from your private balcony or bubble bath in your outdoor tub.
This newly built lodge is situated in a fig and leadwood forest on the edge of the Khwai River in the Moremi Game Reserve. The main camp is connected via wooden walkways to 6 raised luxury tents and one family tent, spread out for complete privacy for a truly intimate bush experience.

You can also opt for guided walking safaris or floating down the Okavango on a seasonal mokoro safari with an experienced ranger. You are also invited to meet the local community at a nearby village for the ultimate cultural experience.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be accompanied back to the airstrip for your light aircraft charter flight to Kasane International Airport. Upon arrival you will board a short 12 minute flight to Victoria Falls International Airport. A representative from Ker & Downey® Africa will be waiting for you as you pass through immigration and will assist you with your 25-minute road transfer to the Victoria Falls River Lodge. This refined all-inclusive lodge is in such close proximity to the famous Victoria Falls that you can see and feel the mist from the powerful waterfall. Overlooking the mighty Zambezi river, you will be greeted by grunting hippos and elephants who come to the river to drink regularly. After settling into your five star suite, your dedicated guide will chat to you about the many activities on offer. We recommend you begin your stay with the two-hour sunset river cruise to admire the vibrant sunset while enjoying a sundowner and hor d’oeuvres on the deck. Upon returning to the lodge, you can enjoy a delectable three-course dinner prepared by one of the lodge’s passionate and professional chefs, who are committed to ensuring you have only the best fine dining experience. During your stay you will visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World – the mighty Victoria Falls or, as the locals call it, Mosi-oa-Tunya, “the smoke that thunders.”
Victoria Falls River Lodge has easy access to both the Falls themselves and the Victoria Falls town. The lodge features 13 premium tents that boast private plunge pools on a large wooden deck overlooking the Zambezi River – a real highlight when the sun sets over the river.
On day eight, you will be transferred across the border to the airport in Livingstone, Zambia, where you will board your scheduled 1 hour 40 minute flight to Nelspruit, South Africa – the gateway to the iconic Kruger National Park. Once you touch down in Nelspruit, a lodge representative will meet you at the airport and assist you with your private game drive transfer to one of the most luxurious environmentally friendly lodges in Africa, Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge into the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. This internationally acclaimed reserve shares an unfenced border with Kruger National Park and is well known for its big cat sightings. Your time here will be spent on morning and afternoon game drives and safari walks that will provide plenty of opportunities to observe and photograph the iconic wildlife of the reserve. In the evenings, you will enjoy gourmet dinners in the outdoor dining area overlooking an active waterhole where animals come to drink regularly. Top it all off with a nightcap in the striking outdoor boma which has been sustainably crafted from tree roots or visit to the underground The Earth Lodge cellar which is well-known for its collection of over 6000 bottles of fine wines and champagnes.
Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge is a symbol of a new era of luxury safari lodges in South Africa. Carved into the slope of the earth, barely visible from a distance, the lodge was created using texture, light and space to present a safari destination like no other. The lodge is home to 14 uber luxurious suites with private plunge pools, glass fronted bathrooms and sculptures by renowned South African artist Geoffrey Armstrong.
Each morning and evening at Earth Lodge you will depart into the wilderness either by open safari vehicle or on foot for a walking safari, accompanied by your armed game ranger and Shangaan tracker. Look forward to close wildlife encounters and exquisite sundowners overlooking the reserve. There is also the opportunity to visit the nearby community.
