Your South Africa and Seychelles Vacation begins on arrival at Cape Town International Airport. A representative from Ker & Downey® Africa will welcome and assist you with your transfer to the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront where you will check in to the ultra-luxurious Silo Hotel. An architectural wonder, this reimagined grain silo features 28 eclectic rooms that overlook the working harbour and boast spectacular views of Table Mountain – making it the perfect spot to explore the top sights of Mother City. On day 3 of your stay in Cape Town, an expert guide from Ker & Downey® Africa will whisk you away for your private full day Cape Point and Peninsula Tour to visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and see the famous African penguins at Boulders Beach. The following day, you will be collected at midday for a sophisticated excursion to the scenic Cape Winelands. You will travel to Stellenbosch – the historic heart of the country’s wine region – for a private 5 hour fully guided tour of the winelands including two wine tastings and a delicious cheese and wine pairing.
The striking Silo Hotel is a grand display of architectural ingenuity and creativity, built in the old grain elevator of a historic 93-year-old grain silo. This luxurious hotel stands tall over the V&A Waterfront in the heart of Cape Town with sweeping views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, and comprises a fitness centre, rooftop swimming pool and 28 exquisitely decorated suites.
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Cape Town on a full-day Cape Point and Peninsula Tour, as well as a half-day Cape Winelands Tour to Stellenbosch. Spend your free days exploring the shops and restaurants of the vibey V&A Waterfront, or enjoying the largest collection of African contemporary art at the Zeitz MOCAA – both right on the doorstep of your hotel. You can also opt to relax at one of the many world class beaches in and around Cape Town.
After a delicious breakfast enjoying fantastic views from the 6th floor restaurant, a driver from Ker & Downey® Africa will transfer you to Cape Town International Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to the gateway of the Kruger National Park – Skukuza Airport. On arrival, a lodge representative will accompany you to Tinga Lodge in the southern part of Kruger National Park. Tinga Lodge is located in a private concession and delivers excellent Big Five game viewing. Because no other external safari vehicles may travel on their roads, you are guaranteed rewarding game drives. Spend the next 5 enjoying a variety of exciting safari experiences including night game drives to see the nocturnal animals of the bush like the elusive bat-eared fox and indulging in pampering wellness treatments. We highly recommend extending your stay for 1 night and booking an evening at the tree house offering you a complete fresh perspective on the bush. Sleep on elevated platforms under the stars listening to the nocturnal sounds of the bush for a truly unparalleled safari experience.
In the afternoon of day eight, you will be transferred back to Skukuza airport for a scheduled flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. From here you will check into the 5 star airport hotel called Intercontinental OR Tambo Airport.
