Your South Africa and Seychelles Vacation begins on arrival at Cape Town International Airport. A representative from Ker & Downey® Africa will welcome and assist you with your transfer to the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront where you will check in to the ultra-luxurious Silo Hotel. An architectural wonder, this reimagined grain silo features 28 eclectic rooms that overlook the working harbour and boast spectacular views of Table Mountain – making it the perfect spot to explore the top sights of Mother City. On day 3 of your stay in Cape Town, an expert guide from Ker & Downey® Africa will whisk you away for your private full day Cape Point and Peninsula Tour to visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and see the famous African penguins at Boulders Beach. The following day, you will be collected at midday for a sophisticated excursion to the scenic Cape Winelands. You will travel to Stellenbosch – the historic heart of the country’s wine region – for a private 5 hour fully guided tour of the winelands including two wine tastings and a delicious cheese and wine pairing.
The striking Silo Hotel is a grand display of architectural ingenuity and creativity, built in the old grain elevator of a historic 93-year-old grain silo. This luxurious hotel stands tall over the V&A Waterfront in the heart of Cape Town with sweeping views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, and comprises a fitness centre, rooftop swimming pool and 28 exquisitely decorated suites.
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Cape Town on a full-day Cape Point and Peninsula Tour, as well as a half-day Cape Winelands Tour to Stellenbosch. Spend your free days exploring the shops and restaurants of the vibey V&A Waterfront, or enjoying the largest collection of African contemporary art at the Zeitz MOCAA – both right on the doorstep of your hotel. You can also opt to relax at one of the many world class beaches in and around Cape Town.
After a delicious breakfast enjoying fantastic views from the 6th floor restaurant, a driver from Ker & Downey® Africa will transfer you to Cape Town International Airport where you will board your scheduled flight to the gateway of the Kruger National Park – Skukuza Airport. On arrival, a lodge representative will accompany you to Tinga Lodge in the southern part of Kruger National Park. Tinga Lodge is located in a private concession and delivers excellent Big Five game viewing. Because no other external safari vehicles may travel on their roads, you are guaranteed rewarding game drives. Spend the next 5 enjoying a variety of exciting safari experiences including night game drives to see the nocturnal animals of the bush like the elusive bat-eared fox and indulging in pampering wellness treatments. We highly recommend extending your stay for 1 night and booking an evening at the tree house offering you a complete fresh perspective on the bush. Sleep on elevated platforms under the stars listening to the nocturnal sounds of the bush for a truly unparalleled safari experience.
This award-winning boutique lodge is set in a private concession and comprises nine waterside suites and an exclusive 2 bedroom family villa. Each luxury suite comes with a private deck and plunge pool overlooking the river with amazing views of wildlife passing through. The main area of the lodge features a lounge, bar, dining room, swimming pool and a beauty treatment sala.
Outdoor dining along the riverbed, in the bush or in the fire-lit boma is sure to be a highlight, as are the plethora of safari activities on offer. These include morning and afternoon game drives in the concession and Greater Kruger Park, guided morning walking safari, visits to the local community, exceptional bird watching, star gazing, and more. There are also a range of dedicated safari activities for kids on offer.
Today marks the final day of your safari experience in South Africa. After breakfast, bid adieu to the friendly lodge staff and enjoy a seamless transfer to Skukuza Airport for your scheduled flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg, you will make your way to the international departures terminal to check in to your scheduled flight to the Seychelles. Upon arrival in Seychelles, you will check in to Mango House – an exclusive luxury resort that forms part of a tropical archipelago in the south of Mahé Island. The ultra-luxurious resort, opened in July 2021, was once the grand family home of celebrated Italian fashion photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri and boasts unobstructed oceanfront views of the azure bay. Spend the next few days in true relaxation and indulge in barefoot candlelight dinners, watching the sunset over the clear azure waters and enjoying cuisine using fresh local ingredients with dishes inspired by the island’s Creole heritage.
Located in a calm bay deep in the south of Mahé Island, Mango House is an intimate retreat with 41 sea-facing villas and suites, all boasting unobstructed views of white sand beaches, tropical flora and crystal clear water. Five unique in-house restaurants dazzle with an array of cuisines from Japanese to fiery Creole. There are a range of sparkling pools to enjoy, and personalised treatments are on offer at the wellness spa which uses high-quality locally sourced beauty products.
Take the island experience to a whole new level on a private sunset yacht cruise and enjoy a romantic moonlight dinner on a secluded beach. Explore the colourful reefs on a private daytime tour in a glass-bottom boat, or from the sky in a scenic helicopter tour. There are also a range of water activities on offer such as kayaking, fishing, scuba diving, wakeboarding, snorkeling and more. If you feel energetic seek out the fully-equipped gym with group workout classes, or hike the rocky coastline paths towards Anse Major Beach.
After a mouth-watering breakfast at Mango House, you will be transferred along the east coast back to Seychelles International Airport for your scheduled international flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. This marks the end of your luxurious South Africa and Seychelles vacation – an unforgettable adventure showcasing the very best of the bush and the beach in Africa!
