On day 14 of this Cape to Cairo itinerary, enjoy a morning boat cruise or game drive activity before departing to Kasane Airport where you will board a light aircraft for a scenic flight to Khwai Private Reserve. Check into Khwai Leadwood for an exclusive wilderness experience as this is one of the newer and most luxurious camps in the area. Located on the banks of the pristine Khwai River you can experience both land and water based activities, where you can often see elephants, hippos and even lions crossing the river. They also offer night game drives in the private concession.
The following morning, you’ll take another light aircraft flight to one of the highlights – the Okavango Delta. We have chosen another new, year-round camp called Duke’s Camp, which is known for its carefully positioned location as it overlooks a permanent body of water. Adorned with vintage safari furniture, the 12 canvas safari suites provide the perfect Okavango Delta experience.
The Victoria Falls portion begins after a morning activity at Duke’s Camp, then a light aircraft flight back to Kasane Airport.
